Dunkin Donuts throws Starbucks a 99 cent beating on Tuesday

We talk about the coffee business a lot on here since it is a booming billion dollar business that is highly competitive. And well, you have to drink a lot of coffee to write this much daily.
Dunkin Donuts decided to make small coffee drinks only 99 cents while Starbucks shut down to keep the gen pop under control. I love aggressive business like this and it really begins to show you how strong some of the other coffee competitors are.
Dunkin has a good line of new commercials out attacking the pretentious coffee houses and so does McDonalds. Dunkins efforts today is a nice smiling wave to Starbucks saying “yeah, just to let you know we are still here”.
With the market at this size it is really in the early stages of development. We will continue to see this market grow along with many other chains popping up and much more quality coffee showing up on the grocer shelves.
Also, Dunkin Donuts is offering those 99 cent deals until 10pm tonight.
